TTU FORGES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH CHINESE CONSULATE GENERAL: EXPANDING GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

To strengthen international cooperation, enhance educational quality, and expand opportunities for students in learning, research, and future careers, Tan Tao University (TTU) held a highly fruitful meeting and strategic cooperation discussion with the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City on July 14, 2026. The meeting opened up promising prospects for practical collaboration in education, particularly for the Chinese Language program under the School of Languages.

Developing the Chinese Language Program

During the meeting, representatives of Tan Tao University introduced the development strategy for the Chinese Language program, which follows an application-oriented educational model focusing on comprehensive language proficiency, cultural understanding, and professional skills. The curriculum is designed to meet the growing demand for Chinese-speaking professionals in enterprises, corporations, and industrial parks with Chinese investment, particularly in Tan Tao Industrial Park, Tan Duc Industrial Park, and more than 20 industrial parks across Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh Province.

Expanding the International Partnership Network

In addition to improving educational quality, the School of Languages aims to broaden its network of collaboration with universities and educational institutions in China. The University proposed implementing student exchange programs, connecting with native-speaking lecturers, and developing scholarship opportunities, particularly for students from the Southwest region of Vietnam and Tay Ninh Province.

Notably, representatives of the Consulate General also expressed their interest in extending cooperation to other key academic disciplines at Tan Tao University, including Medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This reflects the strong potential for multidisciplinary collaboration between the two parties while creating broader opportunities for students to thrive in an international educational environment.

The meeting marks an important milestone in the internationalization strategy of both the School of Languages and Tan Tao University. The proposed areas of cooperation will not only enhance the quality of the Chinese Language program but also provide students with greater opportunities for academic exchange, scholarships, international learning experiences, and future career development.

With its commitment to integrating academic knowledge, professional skills, and global engagement, the Faculty of Languages at Tan Tao University will continue expanding partnerships with domestic and international institutions, providing students with a modern, multicultural learning environment and a strong foundation to become highly qualified professionals capable of meeting the demands of both the Vietnamese and global labor markets.
