Every successful alumnus is a testament to the quality of education and the spirit of continuous growth fostered by the School of Languages at Tan Tao University (TTU). For Ms. Chau Nhat Huynh, her journey from the classrooms of TTU to remarkable achievements on the international stage has become an inspiration to many students pursuing their dreams of academic excellence and meaningful contributions to society.
One of her most notable accomplishments is being awarded the prestigious Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Through this highly competitive program, she had the opportunity to teach Vietnamese language and culture at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) while engaging in academic study, research, and professional development in an international environment. The Fulbright FLTA Program is designed for outstanding young educators who demonstrate academic excellence, teaching ability, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to cross-cultural exchange.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Ms. Chau Nhat Huynh is deeply committed to community engagement. In 2024, she co-founded the “Các em cố lên” Project, an initiative supporting children at the SOS Children’s Village in Dien Bien Phu. The project aims to enhance educational opportunities, develop essential life skills, and inspire children from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue brighter futures.
Notably, “Các em cố lên” was one of only two Vietnamese projects selected to receive funding from the U.S. Department of State in 2024. This recognition not only highlights the project’s meaningful social impact but also reflects her ability to design and implement initiatives that create positive change while strengthening international collaboration and community engagement.
Ms. Chau Nhat Huynh’s accomplishments exemplify a lifelong commitment to learning, social responsibility, and creating meaningful impact. Her journey—from a student at Tan Tao University to an international academic environment and impactful community projects—demonstrates how strong academic preparation, language proficiency, and global competencies can open doors to meaningful opportunities for both personal growth and public service.
The School of Languages – Tan Tao University takes great pride in the achievements of Chau Nhat Huynh. Her story is not only a source of pride for TTU but also an inspiration for current and future students to pursue their ambitions, continuously develop themselves, contribute positively to society, and become globally minded citizens equipped with knowledge, integrity, and a strong commitment to serving their communities.
