Biography

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Nguyen Giang currently serves as the Dean of the School of Languages at Tan Tao University. He received his Ph.D. in English Linguistics from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in 2014. In 2024, he was officially recognized with the title of Associate Professor in Linguistics by the State Council for Professorship.

With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang has established himself as a distinguished scholar in linguistics and English language education. His expertise encompasses Cognitive Linguistics, Contrastive Linguistics, English–Vietnamese Idiomatology, Applied Linguistics, and English Language Teaching. Throughout his academic career, he has published numerous research articles in prestigious international journals indexed in Scopus (Q1, Q2, and Q3), while also authoring and co-authoring textbooks and scholarly books that contribute significantly to language education and linguistic research.

In addition to his research achievements, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang actively contributes to curriculum development, postgraduate supervision, and academic leadership. He continues to promote high-quality education and research in linguistics and applied linguistics, with a strong commitment to preparing students and researchers for the demands of an increasingly globalized world.
