It’s our great pleasure to be able to welcome Ms. Minh Nguyen and Ms. Quyen Do to our faculty team, as two of the new teachers of our students at the School of Humanities and Languages, Tan Tao University.

Ms. Nguyen Tran Ngoc Minh, M.A in Linguistics

Ms. Minh Nguyen holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Ho Chi Minh University of Education, and an MA in Linguistics (TESOL Concentration) from Benedictine University. She has been teaching English to university students for five years in Ho Chi Minh City. Experienced in teaching students of various majors and levels, her teaching interests focus on helping students improve their oral and written communication skills in an engaging and supportive learning environment. Her academic interests center on genre-based writing pedagogy and English for Specific Purposes. She is also interested in the field of teaching CLIL classes and teaching English to young learners.

In 2018, Ms. Quyen Do graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, majoring in English teaching. Since then, she has been teaching General English for non-English majored students at varied universities and for young learners and teenagers at English centers. She’s always wished her students to overcome their language anxiety and love what that they are learning. This motivates her to continuously integrate engaging and effective teaching activities into her lesson plans. In the long term, she aims at nurturing and promoting learner autonomy so that students can take ownership of their learning and become true lifelong learners
