On March 13, 82 universities and colleges with more than 130 stalls has participated in the Admission and Career Counseling Fair for 2016 organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Ministry of Education and Training, Can Tho University and Department of Education and Training of Can Tho Province at the campus of Can Tho University. The opening of the Fair had the attendance of Mr. Truong Quang Hoai Nam – Deputy Permanent Chair of Can Tho City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hanh – Vice Director of Social Culture Department, South West Steering Committee, Dr. Ha Huu Phuc – Director of the representative office of Ministry of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Nguyen Van Hong – Vice Head of Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City. In addition to the information provided by the organizing committee, students directly met and discussed with representatives of their interested universities at the counseling stalls.
Counseling stall of Tan Tao University
With the advantage that the entire curricula are taught in English in the model of US education, the stall of Tan Tao University (TTU) has attracted significant interest and attention from students and their parents. In particular, from 7.00 AM to 12.00 PM, TTU’s stall was always one of the most crowed ones in the Fair. Visitors were not only 10th, 11th, or 12th graders, but included parents, teachers and even 9th grade students. All questions about TTU’s admission regulations and requirements were fully answered and counseled by lecturers and students from TTU. Kim Ngan, a 10th grader from Phong Phu High School, Cau Ke, Tra Vinh Province said: “I want to learn about universities that teach students in English so that it will help me to get a good job after graduation. I have not yet decided about my major of study, but I prefer engineering.”

Nguyen Ngoc Dieu wishes to study medicine major, and confidently said: “I find all medical universities have similar curricula, and it is just different in English teaching. I want to study in a dynamic environment so that I can meet the demand of the society after graduation”.
