Dean of School of Social Sciences &Humanities, Can Tho University (CTU), Vietnam, is currently a Senior Lecturer of English. He has held his PhD at Naresuan University, Thailand since 2010 in Educational Administration (Sustainable Educational Development). In 1998, he achieved his MA degree in International Peace Studies (Culture and Literature Studies) at University of Notre Dame, IN, the USA. He has been teaching English, supervising the MA theses and managing his school since 1986, when he got his BA in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). His main research interests are TESOL issues, high school English learning and teaching, English program management, curriculum design, Testing and Evaluation and Professional Development. Especially, he is an expert in Translation and Interpretation issues in teaching, learning, curriculum designing , researching and real practicing. As an adjunct professor at TTU, Dr. Dan will teach Introduction to Translation and Interpretation and Interpretation courses.
