Mr. John Baratki is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Behavioral Psychology. He also continued his studies in the field of addiction, attending the University of Anchorage Alaska, where he received his certification in Behavioral Health and Chemical Dependency Counseling. John gained varied experiences in working for non-profit organizations throughout Midwestern America and Alaska, and in harm reduction crisis intervention suicide prevention working with high-risk youth. John was instrumental in spearheading a pilot program “First City Homeless Services”. The program aided the homeless population and the marginally housed in job training and other social services.
John came to Vietnam in 2014 and began working as a teacher in different contexts from schools in the Vietnamese public education system to the training program for Vietnamese teachers of English in Cambridge IELTS by Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
John is looking forward to sharing his experiences with the students at Tan Tao University.
